Pingpong has always been part of life at Frontline and 3 of us decided to set up a casual doubles tournament for anyone in the office to enjoy. I offered to lead the internal marketing and decided to go big.
I came up with the idea for a photoshoot and convinced one of our writers in marketing to do the photography (ryanestes.com). After figuring out who our coworker models would be, I wrote up an overview of the style they should wear. On the day of the shoot, I worked with our photographer on the different scenes and styles to capture, as well as jumped in to help model.
I used the photos to create posters and digital signs that were displayed all over the office. The photoshoot and marketing turned out better than I could have hoped for and we had a massive turnout for the tournament.
An additional benefit of the photoshoot was being able to successfully pitch marketing leadership for more photography equipment to use for other photoshoots.
